What are opaque tights?
Opaque tights are generally those labelled 50 denier or higher. The higher the denier, the thicker the tights and the more solid the coverage. They’re especially handy in the colder months as the extra thickness (compared to sheer or semi-sheer tights) provides added warmth and comfort. Depending on your style, any denier in the opaque scale is suitable for autumn and winter.
If you like thick tights, opt for a higher denier such as 100 denier tights or even 200 denier tights.
